In the last log “Dueling in Upper Canada” I feel that I made connections between the smaller details in the writing to my own interpretations. I also included a question for the reader to think about as well as a correlation between dueling and the death penalty today. I am aware that I have a long way to go before I am effective at thinking historically but I do feel like there has been a definite improvement from the first reading log to the last.
